Organised by SmHThe 2-day Home Automation & Smart Living Event, organized by Smart Homes – the Dutch Expert Centre on Home Automation & Smart Living – is a unique platform showing the smartest technologies and services for the housing, living and care environment. This event is the best opportunity to fully see and experience what is possible in today’s world of smart living.
This year’s Home Automation and Smart Living Event wass on 18 and 19 November 2015. Approximately 3.000 professionals visited the event, and over 100 exhibitors displayed what their latest products and services have to offer. Next to the exhibition – including extra thematic areas on innovation, energy, audio & video, and education –there was the opportunity to attend many inspiring presentations and talks on case studies and realized projects.

ICT and Integrated Care Conference
Organised by BSA The current situation forces us to look for efficiency mechanisms that enable the sustainability of the health system, and at the same time, respond to the care needs of patients and society increasingly aging. Future challenges are very demanding and our health care system must adapt to face these challenges. So, the use of new technologies becomes a key element to realize many of the lines of action of the Health Plan 2011-15 of the Health Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya and regulations of the European Commission, the result of coming from many European R + D projects. However, no single technology is currently necessary; the integrated care models are indispensable to enable effective and quality care. This event, “Integrated Care, the solution to the society’s challenges”, which reached its fifth edition, aims to be outlined telemedicine. On the other hand, it wanted to speak about the advantages of integrated care models (social and health care).
European Telemedicine Conference
Attending: BSA/ONMI In October the European Telemedicine Conference (ETC) of 2015was held in Odenssa, Denmark. Ofcourse also Do Change members attented this conference, wich was part of the WHINN – Week of Health and INNovation. They combined the efforts of several leading European Healthcare Organisations into one powerfull event included into a unique week of Health and innovation. Ass one of the organisers BSA’s CEO Pilar Saura spoke about future digital strategies in the field of healthcare with top eruopean leaders and also participated in ETC roundtable discussion about Mobile solutions in disease management. On the other hand, Jordi Piera, BSA’s CIO, moderated the sessions: “Innovative presentations by start-ups” and “Augmented and virtual reality: the icing on the cake?”Besides presenting BSA as a company, the Do CHANGE project was brought into the spotlights by the pitch of Sander van Berlo, ONMI. As young innovating start-up he pitched the value of the project, data management and the effect of Health- and mTools.
