ICT and Integrated Care Conference

Organised by BSA The current situation forces us to look for efficiency mechanisms that enable the sustainability of the health system, and at the same time, respond to the care needs of patients and society increasingly aging. Future challenges are very demanding and our health care system must adapt to face these challenges. So, the use of new technologies becomes a key element to realize many of the lines of action of the Health Plan 2011-15 of the Health Department of the Generalitat de Catalunya and regulations of the European Commission, the result of coming from many European R + D projects. However, no single technology is currently necessary; the integrated care models are indispensable to enable effective and quality care. This event, “Integrated Care, the solution to the society’s challenges”, which reached its fifth edition, aims to be outlined telemedicine. On the other hand, it wanted to speak about the advantages of integrated care models (social and health care).
